H2 Rijders becomes media partner of the Northern Hydrogen Days

We have some great news to share: H2 Rijders has officially become media partner of the Northern Hydrogen Days (Noordelijke Waterstof Dagen). During this two-day event, on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September 2026, we will bring you the latest insights and stories from the hydrogen sector together with the organisers.

What are the Northern Hydrogen Days?

The Northern Hydrogen Days are the first edition of a new event for everyone who wants to help shape the future of hydrogen: professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers and education. The hydrogen transition is in full swing, and this event offers the chance to be right in the middle of it. Visitors discover how hydrogen for mobility serves as a springboard for many other applications, and see which projects are underway in the northern Netherlands, the Netherlands and Europe.

Over the two days, you dive into the latest developments, meet key players in the sector and experience for yourself what hydrogen means in practice.

Programme highlights

Two elements already stand out:

• 24-hour Hydrogen Challenge: a unique challenge in which hydrogen cars drive non-stop across Europe for 24 hours. Whether you take part or follow from the sidelines, it promises to be quite a spectacle.
• Region tours: discover the region's hydrogen hotspots with self-selected routes of 75 to 100 km. No hydrogen car needed: everyone can join, and you decide when and how long you drive. Together with partner Rijdoor.nl, the event shows what hydrogen already makes possible today.
