New on the H2 Rijders network map: 350 and 700 bar status at a glance

Published on 16-07-2026

At H2 Rijders we want hydrogen drivers to know at a glance where they can refuel. That is why our network map now shows three things directly: the status of 350 bar, the status of 700 bar and the status of personal reports. So you see immediately whether a station is ready for your vehicle.

Reliable data from a European source

The status information on our map comes from H2-stations.eu, the European system for the availability of hydrogen refuelling stations. That platform is set up and managed by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, a collaboration involving the European Commission and Hydrogen Europe, among others. Operators enter their station data themselves through a secured portal, after which the information is harmonised and quality-checked. Data that does not meet the requirements is rejected. The system also helps operators comply with the European AFIR regulation. Because the data is public and verified, we can display it on our map with confidence.

Live now, and ever more complete in the future

For a share of the stations we already receive live availability data. Not every station is connected to real-time information yet; that grows step by step as more operators link their stations. We therefore expect the map to become more complete and up to date over the coming period. We are actively helping to build that development.

Why personal reports matter just as much

Alongside the automated status of the systems, we also show personal reports from users. Why? A system reports whether a station is technically available, but reality is sometimes more nuanced. A pump can be listed as available while the pressure is disappointing, or it may have just been restored before the system passes that on. Drivers who were just there know this better than anyone. Combining their reports with the automated status creates the most complete and up-to-date picture.

New: an uptime graph for each station

For the past week a new feature has been running in production: a graph showing the uptime of stations. It lets you see not only the current status, but also how reliable a station has been over the recent period. Handy when you plan a route and want to be sure what you can count on.

Create an account and join in

Want to contribute yourself? Create an account on H2 Rijders and post your own reports. You can also add photos of stations and review stations. That way you help other hydrogen drivers and together we make the map stronger.

For operators

Do you operate one or more hydrogen stations? Get in touch via sales@h2rijders. We offer the option to post alerts and share structured updates with your customers: the drivers who use the H2 Rijders map.

The end user first

At H2 Rijders we put the interests of the end user first. Everything we build is intended to make hydrogen driving easier, clearer and more reliable.
